| The Italian Tribune was founded in 1909 by Vincent Giuliano. The paper was run by he and his wife, Maria, until their grandson Edward M. Baker, and his wife Marlene, took the helm as publishers in the 1960's. Formed as a voice for the Italian Community, the newspaper now circulates throughout the tri-county Metro Detroit Area as well as Windsor, Ont. It is written in both English and Italian. There have been five generations of the same family involved in running the Italian Tribune. |
