Madonna Del Campo Society

The Madonna Del Campo Society's annual festivities begin with a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Francis/St. Maximilian Church in Ray Twp. followed by a beautiful procession. Picnic will be held at Belojski American Center and includes coffee and light desserts following the procession, food and beverages, Italian music and dancing in a covered pavilion. Italian Language Classes

Learn proper Italian at the Ciociaro Club. Instructors are all certified by the Ministry of Education. Children’s Classes (ages 5-14) are offered on Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon. Registration will be taken starting in August with classes starting mid September and running every Saturday through May. Course material is $20 per child per year. Adult classes are offered from 7 to 9 p.m (night depends on skill level). There is a course materials fee per person of $100. Adults may be able to receive credit toward diploma. Una Giornata In Piazza

Experience a typical Italian Day at the Italian American Club of Livonia patio from 1:30 to 7 p.m. and food available from various bancarelle (vendors). The Holy Family Church Ushers Club will be sponsoring a pilgrimage to “Our Lady of Consolation.” Bus #1 will leave at 7:20 a.m. from St. Athanasius Church at 13 Mile and Kelly. Bus #2 will leave from St. Lawrence Parish on Utica, north of Hall Road at 7 a.m. and St. Athanasius at 7:20 a.m. Bus #3 will leave Kmart’s parking lot at Garfield and Canal at 7:15 a.m. All buses will return about 7 p.m. All seats are $26 per person on a first come basis. St. Louis Center Fundraiser

Michael Chirco of MJC Companies, Salvatore Cottone of Twin Lakes Golf Club and Joseph Maniaci, of Troy Tube, Inc. invite the pubic to the 13th annual Dad & Lad Golf Outing to benefit the St. Louis Center, to be held at Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club, 455 Twin Lakes Drive, Oakland. Registration and lunmch begins at 11 a.m. with a noon shotgun start, followed at 5:30 p.m. by cocktails and at 6 p.m. with the dinner and silent auction. Reservations are limited to the first 216 golfers. Cost: $800 per foursome for golf and dinner, or $200 per participant. Dinner only is $75. The event includes 18 holes of golf with a cart.
